   He was a member of the Moorefield Presbyterian
Church, where he served as a Deacon, Trustee, and
Ruling Elder. He was also a member of the South Branch
Duplicate Bridge Club, which meets on Wednesday; the
Keyser Duplicate Bridge Club, which meets on Monday;
and the Cumberland Duplicate Bridge Club, which meets
on Thursday. He was a Life Master of the American
Contract Bridge League (ACBL) and an avid gardener.  

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
one sister, Catherine Virginia Ours Evans and one
brother, Alston Clyde Ours, Jr. George is survived by his
loving wife of 58 years, Polly Williams Ours; one sister,
Nellie Mae Ours Leatherman of Old Fields, WV; and
several nieces and nephews.

  The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m., Sunday,
April 12, 2015 at Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.,
Monday, April 13, 2015 at Moorefield Presbyterian Church
with Pastor Katherine Jackson officiating. Burial will follow
in Olivet
Cemetery, Moorefield, WV.
